An old friend of mine (someone I grew up with, but don’t ever hang out with) sent me a message on Twitter saying that she didn’t like seeing her friends hungry, so she got me a gift card to New Seasons (local specialty/organic grocery store), and she’s leaving it in “my” mailbox tomorrow morning.

Mike rolls his eyes and shakes his head. “Good God man, don’t I know. I don’t know what the hell is going on with Tina and me right now. I know she doesn’t have anyone else on the radar, but it’s still frustrating as hell.” He sighs and pulls the tea bag out of his mug. “Girls. I tell you.”
Sam couldn’t help but let out a chuckle, he always though Mike and Tina’s relationship was solid but it seemed even they had their problems. “So I guess you and Tina aren’t as perfect as I thought you were, I’m she’ll come around to it man.” The waitress came over and brought their food as Sam dug his fork in the stack of waffles and began eating.
